55+ and Gentle Yoga Classes

 

Gentle Yoga with Rosemary da Silva

Thursdays 12.00 – 1.30 pm

This class offers those with minor physical ailments, pain and age-related challenges, the opportunity to continue with their yoga practice. Students must have at least 1 year’s recent regular attendance/practice of Iyengar yoga. Places are limited so this class is presently only open to students with  health issues, on consultation with the teacher.

55+/Gentle Yoga with Judy Waldman

Fridays 10.30am-12.00pm

This is a moderately paced class for a variety of practitioners. It is suitable for new and also longer term practitioners who find that Iyengar Yoga helps them to maintain flexibility, stamina, confidence and balance. You will practice a range of poses that increase mobility and strength of the neck, shoulders, spine, backs and legs. Posture modifications are tailored to the level of each student.
