Our Free Iyengar Yoga Taster Classes are a great way to try out Iyengar yoga in London. These hour-long sessions will give you an experience of the Iyengar method with one of our expert teachers and are suitable for people of all ages.
Our studios are a few minutes walk from Maida Vale tube station in Zone 2 and we are easily accessible from central, north and west London.
If you’ve never been to a yoga class before this is a great way to start.

These classes are always popular so to avoid disappointment please reserve your place online in advance.
What to wear
Wear clothes that let you move freely but aren’t too baggy. Most people wear shorts or leggings and a T-shirt. Yoga is practised in bare feet so you won’t need any socks and you can leave your shoes on the racks by the entrance.
Covid Safety Measures
The Free Iyengar Yoga Classes have a limited number of places. All studio equipment is available but for reasons of comfort and hygiene we strongly encourage students to bring their own yoga mat if possible.
What happens after your first class
If you enjoy the Taster class and would like to take learn more about Iyengar yoga there are a couple of options. We suggest that students follow up with our Introduction to Iyengar Yoga Course which is a six week course covering all the basics. Alternatively you can come to any of our Beginners drop-in classes.
