Our regular Free Taster Classes are a great way to try out Iyengar yoga. These hour-long sessions will give you an experience of the Iyengar method with one of our expert teachers and are suitable for people of all ages.

Coming to a Free Yoga Taster Class
We hold Free Yoga Taster Classes throughout the year to give new students a chance to try out yoga in a friendly environment along with other people at the same level. You don’t need to have had any previous experience of yoga to join the Free Yoga Taster Classes. Some students who have tried other yoga methods find the Free Yoga Taster Classes a good way to try out Iyengar yoga.
What to wear to your Free Yoga Taster Class
Wear clothes that let you move freely but aren’t too baggy. Most people wear shorts or leggings and a T-shirt. Yoga is practised in bare feet so you won’t need any socks and you can leave your shoes on the racks by the entrance.
We provide all equipment including mats, but you are welcome to bring your own mat if you prefer.
What happens after your Free Yoga Taster Class
If you enjoy the class and would like to take learn more about Iyengar yoga there are a couple of options. We suggest that students follow up with our Introduction to Iyengar Yoga Course which is a six week course covering all the basics. Alternatively you can come to any of our Beginners drop-in classes.
